Produktmanager Airborne Detection & Protection Products and Systems (m/f/d)

Management of development projects in the respective product range – timely and in compliance with the cost and quality requirements Building and ensuring product management across the entire product lifecycle within the respective product portfolio, including risk and chance management Close cooperation with the operating sector and the relevant stakeholders to ensure continuous production, operational excellence and ongoing product enhancements throughout the entire product lifecycle and thus to ensure business results (order intake, sales, profit) Implementation of internal project and product management processes and the appropriate preparation for external service providers, subcontractors and suppliers Developing and ensuring the implementation of the strategy and the business plan for the corresponding product portfolio in the context of the strategic planning of the department and participating in the strategy of the Market Observation and Competition Analysis business unit with the aim of developing future products and markets Creation of business cases and ensuring compliance with the R&D planning and the investment budget for the area of responsibility in coordination with the supervisor Ensuring the long-term successful implementation of the corresponding business cases Support of product family proposals through pricing strategies and the creation of technical tender documents, including customer campaigns to assess requirements and configurations Management and support of demonstration and test campaigns to evaluate product performance and/or product developments, including the presentation of the product portfolio at events, fairs and meetings Proactive drive of product-related activities across different functions and interest groups to ensure that decisions, measures and obligations are consistently implemented until the end of the process. Building and maintaining a strong internal and external network to collect information, tune interests and promote business opportunities throughout the product life cycle Take responsibility for complex issues and independent identification, solution and escalation of problems if necessary to achieve business objectives Proactive use of established processes, methods and tools while continuously contributing to their development in close cooperation with the team

Complete technical studies (Master/Diplom) Long-standing experience in the markets for products and systems of defence and security technology with corresponding national and international customer and business contacts Long-standing professional experience in international program, project and product management Long-standing experience with electro-optical systems and devices/systems for aerospace applications Comprehensible appearance and communication and argumentability Leadership with strong team skills and intercultural competence Own-initiative and motivated, with a pronounced practice-oriented attitude and the proven ability to independently bring topics to a successful conclusion Impressed skills in stakeholder management and the ability to build trusted relationships across organisational boundaries and hierarchy levels High level of personal integrity and openness combined with a respectful and cooperative working style Proven ability to cope with complex organisations, obtain relevant information and achieve results Experience in production, operation or related industrial environments is advantageous, combined with the ability to understand operational challenges and to drive forward sound decisions across the entire product life cycle together with the fields of engineering, industrial engineering and operation. Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
