Head of the ‘IT infrastructure and schools’ field Ensuring and coordinating the tasks of IT service providers (IT support) in the field of IT infrastructure and circular schools Optimization of IT infrastructure in terms of performance, scalability and cost efficiency Participation in the further development of objectives and standards for the field / Office Planning and operation of the server, data center and network infrastructure (LAN / WLAN / WAN) Planning and operation of the TC and data centres Initiation and implementation and management of or cooperation on projects Development of customer and service-oriented change and process management Development and planning of budgetary resources and budgetary approaches Creation of technical documentation and concepts

We require good IT skills and extensive IT experience, and we expect applicants to: A completed (high-school) degree with the focus on computer science or equivalent skills and experience due to multiannual senior, professional activities in the IT sector Experience in coordinating external service providers Multiannual experience in leading teams and good communicative skills Knowledge in the fields of IT law, IT compliance, data protection and information security Experience in project management and conceptual work Analytical thinking and a structured, self-employed way of working Own initiative, resilience and enforcement German language skills in word and writing Knowledge and practical experience in: Server infrastructure (Microsoft Windows Server and Linux) Virtualization technologies and hypervisors (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V and Proxmox) Network infrastructure (LAN / WLAN / WAN) and firewall systems Storage systems and data center management Cybersecurity and Data Protection Telecommunications systems and VoIP Data center operation and long-distance networks (WAN) Directory Services (Active Directory)
