You represent your area of expertise in teaching, research and transfer. You are present on site as well as online and accompany intensively students: in the practice-oriented teaching of your subject area, also in other courses of study, subject-related subjects as well as professional courses in German and English. You apply innovative (digital) teaching and learning formats, for example within the learning factories such as Wildauer Maschinen, and develop them actively. You implement practical research projects and knowledge transfer, in particular with other universities, research institutes, the economy and industry. You are involved in study reform processes and in university self-government bodies and support higher education goals (e.g. taking into account heterogeneity, promoting women in the STEM field, and actively dealing with change and complexity). You are engaged in in interdisciplinary, cross-disciplinary study and work forms.
