Disciplinary and partly technical management of the entire accounting team of the import company, monitoring of resource allocation and management Proactive identification, addressing and implementation of strategic and operational optimization potentials and management of business and security risks Close cooperation with the ALDI Import Logistics Department (including planning and implementation of the annual inventory) and with other internal and external stakeholders Ensuring monthly and annual accounts according to German trade and tax law + IFRS reporting according to consolidated accounting policies, as well as clarification of serious accounting issues and accounting rules Control of audits by auditors and participation in tax and customs audits Sparring partners of the Director to develop long-term strategic visions, define goals and make critical decisions Representative of the accounting unit of the import company throughout the organization, promotion of knowledge sharing recruitment of employees including a well-founded, individual employee and talent development

Successfully completed business studies focusing on finance, accounting or similar At least 5 years of relevant professional experience (including leadership experience), ideally in a trading company Outstanding knowledge and experience in accounting principles, practices and procedures, including financial reporting, budgeting and financial analysis In-depth knowledge in HGB as well as IFRSs and in the fields of income and turnover tax Ideally understanding import-related accounting processes (import costs, taxes, customs fees, import regulations) Extensive analytical and problem solving capabilities to identify, solve problems, make informed decisions and make recommendations Effective communication and cooperation capabilities to ensure effective cooperation with various stakeholders in an agile environment Advanced knowledge in MS-Office and in SAP-FI/CO
