Pharmacist in internship in the field of oncology and medical information (May 26) (m/f/d)

In the Medical Information Department, you will get an insight into the activities of a Medical Information Officer. You support the team in answering our customers' medical requests in the German-speaking markets (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) to all approved products of our portfolio. You will be intensively trained to identify unwanted events (adverse events, AEs) as well as product complaints (PCs) and to report to the responsible departments within the applicable deadlines. In addition, you use the approved product information texts (information & usage information), as well as approved standard information texts and FAQs to help our customers in their concern with relevant med. support information. As the first contact point of our customers – specialist circles and patients – you will get an insight into our broad portfolio – from vaccines to anti-infectants to oncology – and will be able to interact with a variety of other departments, including drug safety and product quality, but also Regulatory & Medical Affairs and the Commercial Business Units. In the field of oncology, you will learn the profession of the Pharmaceutical Advisor. You help our teams design and coordinate research projects and studies as well as develop scientific analyses. In addition, you evaluate and analyze statements from marketing concepts and provide technical support for the content of information materials. In addition, you will gain experience in the production and processing of medical-scientific documents and, among other things, participate in the design of training documents and scientific presentations. In oncology, Pfizer works intensively in close cooperation with partners from academic research and pharmaceutical industry to develop new cancer therapies in order to sustainably improve the situation of cancer patients. The Pfizer Oncology portfolio continues to grow with medicines specifically acting on the tumor cell, among others in the indications breast cancer, kidney cancer, lung cancer and blood cancer.

At the time of the internship, you successfully completed the study of pharmacy with the 2nd state exam. A careful and conscientious way of working, reliability, teamworkability and attention to detail are what distinguishes you. In dealing with MS Office and MS-Outlook you are versed. You have very good English knowledge in word and writing. Your excellent analytical and communicative skills help you prepare complex facts and reproduce them in an understandable way.
