Trainee watchmaker in the Hanseatic City of Lübeck (start of training 1 August 2027) (m/f/d)

For the training year from August 2027 (training period 3 years) we are looking for an apprentice to watchmaker (m/w/d) for our headquarters in Lübeck in an attractive location in the old town at the Holstentor.

It is a very varied and complex training with diverse challenges on the topic of “time” in a great team in our master studio.

The training for watchmaker/watchmaker combines classic craftsmanship as well as modern technology: In your 3-year training you will learn a very traditional craft with the most varied activities at various watches of various high quality watch brands.

U. a. learn the following activities & knowledge: · Metal processing (milling, sawing, turning, drilling, milling) · Safety regulations, industrial safety and machine maintenance · Basic mechanics: build a watch (from the wall clock to the wristwatch) · Basics Electrical engineering: Building battery-operated watches · Repair, testing, waiting and repair of mechanical and battery-operated watches · Warehouse care · Theory of watch types and watch brands · Creation of repair diagnostics and cost suggestions · Service acceptance and sales · Incorporating our own goods management system

· You are interested in watches. You are friendly, interested, responsible and patient · You like to work concentrated, careful and conscientious · You have a good, technical understanding, are inspiring for physical processes, understand mathematical relationships and have a sense of aesthetics · You possess fingertips, are handcrafted and bring attention to detail with · You have basic knowledge with common PC programs · and you have (at least) a good middle education
