IT Solution Architect (full-time or part-time)

Do you want to develop our customer-centred systems in a strategically central environment? Do you want to be a stimulator*in with your ideas and lift our IT architecture to a new level? Then become part of the team for our market editing solutions (including tools for omnichannels market editing, campaign control, ordering analogue and digital advertising media) and work closely in an agile, cross-functional team with experienced IT developers, testers, CI/CD experts as well as professional stakeholders and your/her domain IT architect/architecturer. Takeover of the architecture responsibility for the sub-domain market editing, i.e. continuous optimization of the target image such as the IT solutions look structurally and technologically and how they work together in the “Big Picture”. Enable robust decisions at architectural level by, if necessary, management-compatible documents, in which the relevant perspectives are summarized and a clarity is made transparent to the tradeoffs. Develop and document concrete state-of-the-art technology solutions in coordination with enterprise architecture management and its principles and specifications. Close cooperation with experts in the implementation of the solutions, as well as training and coaching of team members in architectural and technology issues. Overview of what technologies and applications are important in the future and what structural adjustments are needed, as well as the ongoing analysis of existing systems and architectures for identifying potential improvements.

Studies with IT focus such as (economic) computer science or comparable training/qualification. Multiannual professional practice as software architectin, solution architectin, IT Business Analyst, or as an engineer with focus on the software architecture for IT solutions. Very good knowledge of current architectural approaches (e.g. Microservices, Self Contained Systems, Data Mesh) and technology trends (e.g. Cloud, Container) and ideally experience in data architecture management. Solution-oriented approach and empathic, sovereign appearance in different stakeholder constellations, as well as communication strength and the ability to present complex facts and decision options briefly and concisely. A way of working, characterized by partnership, appreciation and enthusiasm and team spirit. We also welcome diverse educational backgrounds and work experiences.
