As a technical designer / designer (m/w/d), you will acquire precise grounding plans for railway transfer systems, platforms and engineering structures, making an important contribution to the safe and standard electrical infrastructure in railway operation. The creation and continuous maintenance of location plans as well as planning in the area of the 50-Hz supply belong to your central tasks and form a reliable planning basis for projects and maintenance measures. You develop cable placement plans for platform and rail transition areas and take into account the requirements of various specialist units such as control and safety technology, superstructure, railway or telecommunications technology. On site, you analyse existing situations of electrotechnical installations, document them carefully and equalize the results with existing plan documents. Based on the data collected, you can create and update inventory plans and coordinate closely with engineers and other departments to ensure a structured and reliable transfer to the responsible departments.

You have a training as a technical product designer or a further training as a technician, for example in the fields of electrical engineering, railway technology, transport system technology or energy technology. Ideally, you have experience in the planning, documentation or maintenance of electrical installations, preferably in the infrastructure or railway environment. The safe handling of CAD systems, in particular AutoCAD, allows you to accurately create and maintain technical drawings, location plans and cable routings. Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards and regulations in the railway or infrastructure environment help you to implement planning in a standard and safe manner. A structured and careful way of working, a sense of responsibility and a team capacity will help you to reliably implement projects and to efficiently coordinate with different specialist structures.
