About: Tribe Lead Germany is responsible for the strategic, organizational, human and technological leadership of a tribe within the German Technology Organisation. The role is the overall responsibility for the successful development, provision and continuous development of the product and technology portfolio of its responsibility. The Tribe Lead ensures that Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, Operations and other areas of expertise together form a powerful, customer-oriented and economically successful product organization. In doing so, the role creates the framework conditions for sustainable growth, high engineering and delivery performance, technological progress and the achievement of corporate and product goals. The role acts as a central decision-maker for strategy, organization, prioritization and transformation within the tribe.

What tasks can you expect? Effective management of investments, capacities and priorities Continuous technological modernisation and risk mitigation Ensuring a balanced prioritization between business value, innovation, customer value, technical stability and sustainable development of platforms and products Promoting technological innovation, reducing technical debt and continuous improvement of processes, systems and organisational structures Leadership, coaching and further development of executives and key roles within the tribe Ensuring optimal use of investments to maximise business and strategic achievement Stakeholder and Executive Management Representative of the Tribe to Executive Management, Business Stakeholders, Customers, Partners and International Organisational Units What do you have to offer? Complete study of computer science, economic informatics, engineering, business management or comparable qualification Long-standing leadership experience in larger product, technology or software organizations Deep understanding of modern software development, cloud technologies, platform architectures, devOps and operating models Experience in controlling larger transformation and modernization programs Knowledge of organisational development, operating models and governance structures Experience in budget, resource and investment management Impressed skills in strategic planning, prioritization, decision-making and stakeholder management High communication, leadership and change competence German and English skills
