Your working environment

We develop social future! As an operating IT service provider of the Federal Employment Agency (BA), the IT system house at the headquarters in Nuremberg as well as at various locations throughout Germany with over 100 IT applications, 180,000 networked PC workstations and the associated infrastructure operate one of the largest IT landscapes in Germany and continuously develops them. They are hired in the IT system house as IT architect/in.

Possible places of work for this tender are: Nuremberg/Fürth, Berlin, Bochum, Chemnitz, Düsseldorf, Krefeld, Hannover, Lübeck. Please enter your preferred working place (possibly several) as part of an application.

Your future team is working at the Nuremberg site, so regular travel activities are incurred when setting at other locations. In Nuremberg you can first meet your team personally and find yourself in your new tasks. The presence in Nuremberg is planned for the first two weeks of incorporation and regular teamwork (about 2 working days per month).

Tasks and Activities

As a system engineer design, develop, test, optimize and operate software solutions and infrastructures that meet the requirements of the client and user. They work in interdisciplinary teams to create and/or adapt high-quality and reliable software and infrastructures.

The focus of Full-Stack is on IT development both on the client and server side (backend technology and front end technology). Full-stack developers work with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript as well as backend technologies such as databases, server infrastructure and programming languages such as Java.

The following tasks include:

definition of roll-specific objectives, independent design and implementation of the following tasks and guidance of others:

• Planning, management and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructures
