As part of our Product Security & FOSS team, you are driving forward innovative ideas and solutions from the FOSS compliance of our interdisciplinary developer team.

Innovative process development: You develop and optimize our processes in areas such as software Composition Analysis, supplier management and vulnerability management

Mentoring and support: They provide valuable impulses and support to our ZEISS FOSS experts within the metrology organization and work closely with software development teams and purchasing

Tool optimization: Together with implementation experts, you improve the tool landscape for software composition analysis and vulnerability management to drive the automation of these tasks for different products and development platforms

Working closely with the Corporate ZEISS Open Source Program Office to promote the exchange of knowledge and best practices

a completed study with computer science reference and first experience in software development

a basic understanding of legal issues and sound knowledge in e.g. Software Composition Analysis, FOSS Disclaimer, Software Bill of Material, SPDX and VEX

Enthusiasm for FOSS topics and their legal aspects, e.g. in connection with Copyleft or Dual Licenses, taking into account the obligations arising from the licenses and adapting to EU directive NiS 2 and EU Cyber Resilience Act Regulation

You know yourself very well with common agile development processes (SCRUM) and tools (git) - Ideal would be experiences with BlackDuck and ORT

a systematic and solution-oriented way of thinking to identify and discard vulnerabilities

Fun to bring the FOSS topics into the organization and to work together in an interdisciplinary team
