Snowflake Data Engineer (m/f/d)

Understanding requirements and consulting customers: In cooperation with the departments, you will develop specific requirements for the Data Pipelines and advise our customers on best practices and Snowflake Data Engineering features (such as OpenFlow, Snowpark, Snowpipe). Developing data links: You design and develop along the entire pipeline and use, for example, Fivetran, dbt, Airflow, Matillion or other tools of the modern Data Stack Analyse and present data: You use the Snowflake AI Suite (Snowflake Cortex, Snowpark, Streamlit) to derive insights from datasets and present them in a comprehensible way. Close cooperation with different teams: You work closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, Architects and other Engineers to implement the best solution for the customer. Data Management: You help our customers build structured and reliable data processes: compliance with privacy policies, definition of data governance guidelines, implementation of data access and security concepts. Knowledge: You implement training from end users:inside and analysts in dealing with snowflake, creating documentation and guidelines. Actively participate in the presales: Depending on the experience, you develop technical solutions, accompany presentations and carry out workshops.

Data Platform Knowledge: You have experience in Data Platform projects, ideally with Snowflake and master Data Platform concepts (DWH/Data Lake/Datalakehouse and Data Mesh) and modelling with Data Vault 2.0 or classic modeling patents such as Snowflake and Star. Cloud expertise: You bring experience in cloud data platforms and a cloud hyperscaler such as AWS, GCP or Azure, and you have a basic knowledge of cloud infrastructure (VPC, IAM, etc.), as well as IaC and Terraform. ETL/ELT-Method: You can easily develop batch and streaming data pipelines with a strong focus on robustness and data quality and also have a comprehensive market overview of common integration tools such as dbt, Fivetran, Matillion, Talend and Informatica, while providing knowledge in one of these languages: SQL, Python, Java, Scala or Spark. Consulting experience: Professional experience in consulting is an advantage. AI Competence: You use AI tools in your area of expertise, evaluate the results critically and support customers and adessi to use potentials of AI. Language skills: You know very good German and good English skills.
