In the research & development (RD) of Mercedes-Benz AG we design the automotive generations of the future. Our Mercedes Intelligent Cloud and Rising Stars Development department is responsible for the design, continuous development and global operation of the Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS) Core Cloud environment for linking vehicles, customers and providing digital extras and services. Current projects are the MB.OS Vehicle and Customer Management, the further development of the Vehicle Data Pipeline and a variety of Application & Developer Services with the aim of the best-in-class cloud platform for developers and customers. As a team, we develop and operate the ecosystem for the Digital Extras at Mercedes-Benz. Our department consists of 101 highly motivated and nice colleagues, distributed to 9 teams that are looking forward to your support. We work agilely with state of the art technologies together with internal and international project partners, including China, USA and India. We attach importance to regular exchanges to transfer knowledge and ideas between the individual projects. We work in a hybrid working model - both on site at the development site Sindelfingen and mobile work is regularly used by us. As a department we have a strong passion for technology & software. Within the teams we always set different technical accents with the goal of providing our internal and external customers the best possible platform for providing, operating and using Connected features. These challenges include: Independent work as part of the development team: Develop innovative cloud applications and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services Programming: Implement robust and scalable solutions in front and backend using the latest technologies and best practices Find solutions: Analyze complex problems and develop creative and efficient solutions Bring your own ideas: introduce your own ideas and present them within our team to promote the development of new features and optimizations DevOps: Support the integration and continuous deployment of our applications to ensure seamless user experience The work student activity can start from September 2025.

Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable degree programme Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Commitment and team skills Analytical thinking and strategic working First experiences with Java, Typescript/Javascript, nodejs, SpringBoot, vue.js, Kubernetes or SQL Knowledge with cloud providers such as AWS or Azure Additional information: Of course, without formalities, we are not.
