The stations Stroke Unit, post-stroke, neurosurgery and neurological early rehabilitation are part of the neurocentre in the Vivantes Klinikum Neukölln. The centre combines neurology, neurosurgery and neuroradiology and enables comprehensive care of seriously ill patients through close cooperation. It is predominantly sought for the field of early neurological rehabilitation, in which patients are stabilized and prepared for further treatment in a rehabilitation clinic (phase C). An interdisciplinary team of nursing, medicine and therapists works with individual therapy programs on mobility and self-sufficiency.
