The Data Science Academy of the KD department develops and offers training courses for various professional groups who want to further qualify in the areas (generic) artificial intelligence (AI) and data science. Our training courses are developed by scientists who research themselves in these topics and have the latest insights involved. The offer is aimed at beginners who want to build their knowledge in this field, as well as advanced students who want a career as a data scientist.

What you do with us

• Participation in the implementation of workshops on artificial intelligence at secondary schools in Cologne based on current research-based findings
• Participation in the preparation and follow-up of scientific events on artificial intelligence, including organisational planning, on-site support and subsequent evaluation to ensure quality
• Evaluation of the current research results associated with the professional and educational theoretically well-founded participation in the (further) development of teaching and learning materials to promote AI skills

What you bring

• You study computer science or another technical-nature-scientific field
• You are interested in AI and have fun in communicating scientific content
• Communication strength and very good expressiveness in German
• Safe handling of MS Office programs, especially MS-PowerPoint
• Good organizational capacity, self-initiative as well as independent and accurate work
