Head of Software Development (m/f/d)

Professional and disciplinary leadership of the staff and management of the software department Definition and development of software architecture in the Komax SLE and within the Business Unit Structural design, implementation and compliance of development processes and methods in the software department Continuous improvement and further development of software development processes to increase efficiency and quality Definition, implementation and maintenance of the machine control platform Implementation of product roadmap and release management in software Ensuring software quality and compliance with development standards in customer projects and development projects Implementation of the operational planning of programming tasks and compliance with dates in projects Cooperation and regular exchange/consultation of other departments and stakeholders internally and in the Komax Group, as well as cooperation with external partners (high schools, development offices) Ensuring compliance with legal and entrepreneurial regulations in the software department (machine directive/machine regulation) Ensuring the documentation of knowledge in the software department

Successfully completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, computer science, industrial engineering with a focus on software development and/or comparable training Experience in programming and managing programmer teams/ departments in machine, device and plant engineering is absolutely necessary Good knowledge of programming software in high-language (C#; C++), SPS (structured text/TwinCat3), optional image processing (openCV) Ideally experience and knowledge in the standardization and industrialization of machines, plants and devices Agile development method competence Design-to-cost knowledge, first experience in systematic cost optimization desirable High self-initiative and sense of responsibility Leadership and decision-making skills Strategic thinking and entrepreneurship High problem solving capability Good English knowledge of word and writing International readiness
