Monitoring and ensuring the availability and stability of network services. Administration of LAN, WAN, firewall and other security technologies Analysis of network performance and identification of bottlenecks or disturbances Incident and problem management in the network area incl. Root-Cause Analysis and Change Management Creation of documentation, reports and action recommendations for management and customers Cooperation with internal IT teams and external service providers Ensuring compliance with security policies and compliance requirements Network infrastructure with interface to IT security and other areas of expertise Working with the architecture team on the projects and providing network solutions Experience in a hybrid IT environment Working with the development and implementation of automation solutions for networks using controllers and API interfaces Ensuring and complying with compliance requirements, including BSI’s basic protection requirements and secret protection as part of system operation Willingness to participate in a readiness to call

Studies (uni or FH) in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related subject or a comparable vocational training Professional experience in the design and implementation of modern IT infrastructures in the area of enterprise networks Up-to-date manufacturer certifications such as CISCO, CCNA, CCNP or certifications from other manufacturers in the network environment are desirable knowledge of routing, switching and firewalls, proxy systems and load balancers Knowledge in the 802.1x and network-based authentication method. Ability to develop problem solutions in dialogue with manufacturers, application managers and end customers Customer orientation, self-initiative, team skills, and strong communication skills Very good knowledge of German and English
