Full jury*in Central Legal Service Start: 01.10.2026 | terminated until 31.03.2028 | part-time (90 %) | Payment: E 15 TVöD The judiciary of the Central Legal Service accompanies the preparation and implementation of democratic decisions of the city of Karlsruhe from a legal perspective and contributes to the guarantee of a legal administrative trade. The lawyers advise the Mayor, the Dezernent, the municipal council and its bodies as well as the municipal services in all legal matters. One of the core tasks is the judicial and extrajudicial representation of the city. In addition, the focus of activity is on legal design and project management. The project, combined with a parental leave, opens up the opportunity to carry out various tasks.

Consultation: You advise the municipal services in public law, in particular in building regulations and construction planning law. Legal representation: You are responsible for the representation of the city of Karlsruhe in court, in particular in matters of building regulations. Change guaranteed: You are part of our civil rights team, ready opinions and written articles, communicate directly with all parties involved, assist the departments in joint committee meetings and accompany construction projects.

Qualifications: You are full lawyers with particular interest in public law, in particular public building law. Knowledge: You have knowledge of building regulations and ideally also in building planning law. If necessary, you can also work in other fields. Competences: You work independently, actively, responsibly and enjoy interdisciplinary work in the team. As a service provider and stakeholders, you will be able to demonstrate ways and solutions to how legal risks can be avoided or reduced, and will support and support decisions that are as secure as possible. Your communication and cooperation skills, your empathy, as well as your enforcing skills help you.
