Our section “Projects and Field Quality Management” is responsible for the quality of development projects in the field of Powertrain. For the development of our new engines we are the representatives of quality in the development projects. The focus is on preventive quality work in the product development process with the aim of ensuring the degree of maturity in time.

During your internship, you will get comprehensive insights into the Mercedes-Benz working world and the Powertrain area engines (c-Drive). You support the project management quality in current engine developments and gain cross-functional insights into the areas of production, development, logistics, purchasing and planning. The site of the internship is the Untertürkheim plant.

These challenges include: Supporting the project leaders quality in engine projects from the conceptual idea to the development phase to the industrialization and release of the unit Support in the regular query of performance indicators as well as requirements and milestone assessments in current engine projects to assess maturity Regular preparation of quality indicators for controlling development projects Support for the reporting of project managers for department and center management Development of standards and quality tools within the scope of the project management quality engines Participation in body preparation and moderation within and outside the team Insights into the operational field of the project management Quality

The activity can begin from March 2026.

Study programme in the field of engineering and/or economics or a comparable degree programme Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Secure handling of MS Office (especially PowerPoint) Rapid opinion Team skills Creativity Ready to use and high communication capability
