“space for future” is more than just a slogan. With around 19,500 apartments, the GBG Group is the largest municipal housing company in Baden-Württemberg. It plays a key role in the development of Mannheim and works together with its eight subsidiaries and two grandchildren to make the city lively, diverse and sustainable. With the three-year training you become a real estate expert. The training consists of a theoretical and practical part. In the practical part, you will get to know the various departments at GBG Mannheim, such as property management with our customer service centers, rental and sales, accounting and corporate communication. Especially with us, you will also get an insight into the technical areas of construction management and technical inventory management – these terms do not have to say anything yet: you will learn everything in your training. For the theoretical part of your training, visit the vocational school in Ludwigshafen. The training ends with an IHK exam.

That's what you bring: You've got the medium-sized maturity, high-school maturity, or Abitur, and you're looking forward to a safe training in a sensory industry. German and Mathe don't get any trouble. You are interested in real estate business topics and are open to our diverse clients. You want to learn new things and develop yourself.

Professional and personal development: In order for you to gain not only a lot of theoretical, but also practical knowledge during your training, we supplement your professional education with internal workshops, e.g. on legal, economic and financial issues as well as on our internal processes and other special features of practical work in the GBG. These workshops are carried out by GBG employees. In addition, there is the possibility to participate in seminars on personality development. This is why we rely on a model with flexible working hours, generous holiday regulations of 30 days and mobile workplace design. For the GBG, the weekly working time is 37 hours.
