The Rastatt plant with around 6,500 employees has been producing the fully-electric compact model EQA since 2021. The factory is also responsible for the production of the A-Class, B-Class, GLA and the new CLA. The Rastatter compact car production covers the entire range of modern drive technologies with burners, plug-in hybrids and electric vehicles, and thus goes even more precisely on the wishes of demanding customers. In the assembly hall 4.0, vehicle types of the A-Class, the GLA, the new CLA as well as various AMG versions are produced on the same production line with efficient belt occupancy.
