Place of work: Stuttgart Job: Full-time (part-time is possible in principle), unlimited Job ID: 2026_0528_02 A functioning economy requires a stable banking system. The banking supervision therefore has the task of monitoring the business activities of credit institutions and maintaining the confidence of investors. The employees of the audit teams contribute to this by carrying out audits at the institutes on site. Their missions lead them to destinations in Germany and abroad. On the basis of supervisory rules, the auditors assess the functioning and adequacy of risk management and processes of the institutions.

You shall take part in audits (MaRisk, ZAIG, WPIG, and OSI) by financial sector entities, in particular credit institutions, at home and abroad as part of the financial supervision. You assess the functioning and adequacy of business processes and risk measurement and control processes based on the supervisory rules You carry out independent analyses of the company's documents in the national and European monitoring framework, interviews with their staff and prepare audit reports in German or English. You represent the results of the audit in the field of inspection and the audited institutes. You cooperate in thematic networks and working groups in the processing of bank-supervised policy and interpretation issues.

Master or equivalent degree, preferably in the field of economics good knowledge of banking business and capital markets, in particular banking risk measurement and control processes, overall bank control (including risk-bearing capacity concepts) and credit and trading processes including Real Estate and Security Assessment good knowledge of the national and international banking supervisory framework strong ability to analyze, evaluate, and address-oriented representation of complex facts combined with negotiation skills and team skills Self-employment and safe and binding occurrence good and safe judgment high readiness and loadability very good written and oral print capacity (also in English) permanent willingness and ability to participate in multi-week trials at changing locations in Germany and abroad
