Your work will take place directly in the Inden, Hambach and Garzweiler mines. You work there on technically demanding large equipment and installations, which are of great importance for the ongoing day-to-day operation. The work is mainly carried out outdoors. You should therefore be ready to work at different temperatures and changing weather conditions. It is expressly not a pure workshop or hall activity. You are working on: Blade wheel excavators and other brown coal large appliances Decomposers Conveyor and belt systems Steel constructions mechanical components and assemblies Drive, support and connection components

Working hours and shift systemThe open-pit operation takes place on seven days a week – from Monday to Sunday. Their use therefore takes place in three-layer operation according to a fixed layer or service plan. The layers are divided as follows: Early shift: 06:00 to 14:30 Late shift: 14:00 to 22:30 Night shift: 22:00 to 06:30 Your personal working and free days depend on the respective layer and application plan. The willingness to work in all three shifts as well as on weekends is therefore an essential prerequisite for this activity.

Your profileCompleted vocational training in a metalworking or technical profession, for example as a locksmith, industrial mechanic, construction mechanic, metal maker or in a comparable profession As an alternative to several years of practical work experience in metal, assembly, welding or maintenance For use as a welder: practical experience in performing welding work Valid welding tests are advantageous, but not absolutely necessary Experience in industrial maintenance and maintenance is desirable Experience with large equipment, belt systems, steel constructions or heavy machinery is advantageous Willingness to work in three-shift operation and weekends Ready to work predominantly outdoors and with changing weather conditions Technical understanding and craftsmanship Physical resilience and altitude Self-employed, careful and safety-conscious working Reliability, performance and team capability Responsible handling of tools, machines and personal protective equipment
