Our department is responsible for the design, mechanics and innovative emission technologies for the internal combustion engines and PHEVs of Mercedes PKW and VAN as well as AMG GmbH. We thus make a decisive contribution in the phase of transformation into the future of the power train. Our team is concerned with the development of petrol and diesel engine mechanics at the Stuttgart site. From the crankshaft to the cylinder head all parts are developed and tested in the department. During your internship, you will work with the Team Motored Ventilation. All engine components are developed and tested by us. The test is carried out on the full motor or Component test stand and in the vehicle and secures the components as a single part and in the overall system motor or Vehicle off. Your tasks include: Planning, processing, carrying out and evaluating measurements at the full engine test stand and vehicle tests as well as out-engine component tests of the crankcase ventilation systems

Involvement in the execution of the daily business, from the interpretation of new systems to the troubleshooting on the test stands and in the test cars

Creating presentation documents, evaluations, calculations and documentation of the test results

The activity can begin from February 2026.

Study programme in the field of mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or a comparable degree programme

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Safe handling of MS Office, desirable VBA

Team and communication skills and commitment

Enthusiasm to the engine concepts of the future desirable
