The context: The KI•PIE Group is an established B2B media and data company for the international plastics industry and petrochemicals. We are currently building pricenxt.com – our new SaaS platform for pricing and market intelligence and a central growth lever for the coming years, especially in European countries. As a commercial lead, you bear the operational and strategic responsibility for sales and marketing in a team of around 15 people and report directly to the management. You control the commercial side of our product portfolio – in particular Go-to-Market, Pricing and Funnel and Retention Performance, with current focus on pricenxt.com. Product and IT are not downstream areas, but equal Sparring partners for marketing. You build KPIs, reportings and forecasts and use them as a basis of decision – not as a self-interest. You are the central commercial Sparring partner of the management and communicate clearly and transparently to the inside and outside. We require readiness to travel: you represent the company at trade fairs, events and panels. Above all, you work independently and take Ownership from day 1. That means: make informed decisions without waiting for detailed instructions and carry the results clearly outward.
Minimum requirements:
You have a degree (BWL, VWL, Economics, Marketing/Communication or comparable) and at least five years of professional experience, of which at least two years in disciplinary leadership. You have already managed teams from eight people and have a strong numerical affinity and a very good understanding of business relationships. You work safely with KPIs, budgets, forecasts and performance analyses; Experience with common CRM systems is a prerequisite to gain knowledge in HubSpot and Stripe. You like to work in a diverse team and convince by an open, value-adding communication. You speak and write German and English very well, one of the two languages at native language level. In dealing with customers, partners, employees and management, you are looking for a safe and accurate look.
