To support our team in the Planning, Construction and Innovation division, we are looking for you as department manager (w/m/d) TIM-GeO from 01.09.20026. The TIM-GeO department includes the three areas: Geosystems/ Road Information Bank (GIS/SIB), Vermessung und Digitallabor Geoinformatik. The tasks include building and providing the GDI, GIS applications on a geo platform, providing basics for engineering geodetic data collection and evaluation, as well as the design and implementation of new innovative digital processes, working methods and products related to the geo platform.

Head of the TIM-GeO department as well as disciplinary and professional management of the directly subordinate employees Responsibility for action and outcomes for the implementation of the necessary tasks as well as ensuring economic and proper processes Total responsibility for the (further) development of techniques for spatial data and their applications in the course of the digital transformation by using new technologies, developing derived concepts and templates and their introduction Ensuring stakeholder management, public relations, change management and reporting Coordination with branches for the uniform design and use of the specialist applications of the abbot. TIM-GeO and perception of the relevant policy competence Representation of the Federal Highway GmbH in negotiations with service providers as well as participation in working bodies of the Federal Government, offices or the Research Society for Road and Transport (FGSV) in the assigned task area

A successfully completed academic study in the field of geoinformatics, computer science, geosciences or comparable expertise, qualifications and experience

Long-term professional experience in a comparable position, preferably in public enterprises or in more complex business forms

Proofable leadership experience of an area or department

Knowledge and practical experience with geodata infrastructures, geoinformation systems and associated IT technologies (in particular distributed systems, cloud computing)

Experience in process adaptation and optimization

High (national) networking, e.g. in the field of transport infrastructure

Very good knowledge of German in word and writing That would be desirable: Experience in engineering geodesy

Knowledge about the use of digital methods in infrastructure such as BIM
