What's going on? In the dual study of software technology with a focus on IT Security, you develop secure software solutions and protect systems, applications and data from digital attacks. You learn how modern software is created, what security requirements it needs to meet and how vulnerabilities are detected and eliminated. You connect software development with cybersecurity and make an important contribution to a secure digital future. Your job – Software meets security During your dual study, you change between university and company and implement your theoretical knowledge directly in exciting projects. You develop and test software, analyze security vulnerabilities and support the development of safe applications and IT systems. You will also learn modern programming methods, encryption technologies and security concepts. Together with your team, you work to make digital solutions reliable, efficient and above all safe.

You are interested in computer science, software development and IT security. Logical thinking, analytical work and joy in solving complex tasks are your strengths. You have the skills of the university or the degree and want to combine theory and practice optimally. You are also happy to work in the team, are curious and willing to deal with new technologies and current security issues all the time. That's how you tick: You want to understand how software works – and how to protect them against attacks.
