Build and operate network and connectivity capabilities for a high-availability cloud native platform across multiple data centers. You will ensure connectivity between Kubernetes clusters, platform services, infrastructure components and business-critical applications. You have experience in building, operating, or developing network, data center or Platform infrastructures with – ideally in highly available, regulated or business-critical environments. You can implement, test, automate, and make them operate reliably – instead of just writing concepts. You know relevant technologies from classic network, data center networking or Kubernetes networking, such as routing, switching, BGP, PPE/VXLAN, DNS, load balancing, ingress controller, Cilium, Calico, eBPF, Network Policies or NetBox. You understand the interplay of classic network IT and cloud native concepts – such as CNI, pod and service networks, ingress/egress, segmentation, client separation and service expoure. You evaluate technical variants pragmatically, consider geo-rounding, failover, security, compliance and KRITIS requirements and work constructively with network, platform and partner teams.
