For our customers, Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG, we are looking for an electrical engineer (m/w/d) for the field of commissioning of HGÜ plants at the Forchheim site at the next possible time.

Your tasks:

• Technically correct, timely and economic execution of the on-site installation (IBS) of HGÜ installations
• Integration testing and functional testing of HGÜ Leittechnik (C&P Hardware and Software)
• Creation and implementation of test sequences and test programs for the converter and pole control systems including necessary detection documentation
• Planning, execution and evaluation of workshop tests (exception tests) for subcontractors
• Support for IBS leadership in quality, risk and claim management
• Participation in improvement programs (including Lean, Reviews and Lessons Learned)

Your profile:

• Successfully completed university studies in the field of electrical engineering, energy technology or comparable

• Knowledge of project planning and testing via MATLAB/SIMULINK, Siemens SIMATIC TDC/S7, CFC

• Experience in the field of HVDC systems (control, control, measurement, protection and communication systems) is advantageous

• Good knowledge in the fields of power converter technology, high voltage technology and/or control technology complete your competence profile, ideally in the field of HGÜ Technik

• Good knowledge of German and English

• Willingness to worldwide missions and predominantly multi-month deployments at construction sites in Germany and abroad as well as optional operations on offshore platforms
