With more than 150 employees, the VHS EDUCATION SWERK Brandenburg is one of the largest social providers and employers in the city of Brandenburg an der Havel. Qualified pedagogical professionals, trainers and social pedagogues support about 1000 children, young people and families in projects, measures and assistance according to SGB II, SGB III and SGB VIII. Your work as cook/kitchen:

• You take the Submission of the training content according to the valid training framework plan in the training profession.

• You can also prepare food for the breakfast and lunch service.

Your profile

• You have a complete vocational training as a cook / cook (m/w/d) with training examination (AEVO).
• You have interest at work with young people.
• You are resilient, team-capable and have social and intercultural competence.
• Self-employed work and the willingness to work on new topics and working methods are of course for you.

*Onboarding: Your start of contract is possible from 01.09.2026 or at your next possible entry date. You get an extensive incorporation. A 5-day week with 38.5 hours in full time is provided for this job.

• Safety: Through our collective agreement with the trade unions GEW and ver.di you will receive an indefinite employment, an industry-standard payment for educational staff according to our wage agreement and 30 days per year.
