Strategic design and further development of measures to improve the environmental impacts of ecclesiastical bodies in communication with corresponding areas of work of the national church Development of framework conditions and recommendations for the implementation of the provisions of the German Climate Protection Act and the achievement of the CO2 reduction targets Advising the management bodies of the Landeskirche and the ecclesiastical bodies in environmental-climate problems Accompanying legal development in environmental and energy law Public and networking work beyond the borders of the national church Perception of professional competence for the team Environmental protection in the Evangelical Agency of the Landeskirche

Completion of university studies in law (full-time lawyer* with competence to the judges office according to DRiG) or a completed university study (diploma or master) of the administrative, environmental or sustainability sciences (e.g. environmental law, environmental management, sustainability, administrative sciences) or a comparable degree of study with relevant qualifications and professional experience in the area of Head of Unit Environment, Head of Sustainability, Climate Protection Manager, Environment well-founded knowledge in public law, ideally related to church law and climate protection law proven expertise in sustainability, environmental and energy management Experience in strategic design and project management strong communicative skills and experience in public relations and moderation skills Teamability and willingness to cooperate with ecclesiastical and public actors Conflictability and negotiation skills high communication skills in dealing with professional and voluntary employees Knowledge of relevant IT applications Ready for business trips
