As a scientist/system engineer in the development of new measurement technology, you will: design ultra-precision measuring technology for the latest generations of lithography high performance optics in an exciting working environment

coordinate, manage and implement developments with internal and external partners together with an interdisciplinary team of highly qualified experts

Specify new measuring systems, derive requirements on subsystems and components, estimate accuracy and quantify measurement technology

Model measurement processes in specially developed simulation environments, evaluate the results and compare them with dedicated measurements

develop, implement and test new calibration, correction and image processing algorithms

take on the technical responsibility for innovative measurement technology projects and present work results independently

They have a very good degree in a STEM subject (e.g. physics), preferably with doctorate

a very good understanding of the function and interaction of complex components from the fields of optics, mechatronics and sensor technology

very good capabilities in data evaluation as well as in the field of image processing and algorithmics

first experience in the professional leadership of smaller teams

an independent and structured way of working with distinct organisational and communicative skills

a high level of team capacity, initiative and commitment

very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
