You have an appetite: As a sous boss, you take the key role as a link between the kitchen line and the kitchen staff in the operating restaurant. They work closely with your leadership and are the direct representatives in their absence. That is, if your boss is on holiday or sick, you are as reliable as competent. They lead the kitchen team, take responsibility for budgets and are an important contact for the employees and guests. It should be healthy and tasty: they ensure that warm and cold food - often in front-Cooking - are perfectly prepared and visually appealing. In addition, you actively support the execution of special events and promotions and cook high-quality menus. But you are not only playing your culinary strengths: You will also take care of the goods industry, compliance with hygiene standards, HACCP documentation and ensure that internal apetito catering quality standards are implemented. With this you will bring us to the taste: complete training to the cook or a comparable qualification, you will be happy to add a further education (e.g. kitchen master, farmer) with pleasure in cooking and pleasure for fresh products. A few years of experience in a similar position in the gastronomy, hotel industry or an operating restaurant with appropriate expertise in goods and business. Ideally safe handling of common application programs (MS Office). Communication-strong, sympathetic and open-minded personality with a strong service mindset that maintains a cooperative leadership style and thus promotes the team spirit in the kitchen crew exemplary.
