Our client is an innovative, successful family-owned company in the field of plastic processing in injection moulding with appropriate technology departments based in Rheinland-Pfalz, located in the beautiful Nahetal and 40 km away from the state capital Mainz. As part of the post-occupation in a generational order, we are looking for you as Technical Director (m/w/d) for our mandates. They will make a significant contribution to increasing effectiveness and ensuring competitiveness. We are therefore focusing on leading personalities from the plastics processing industry, who have already worked in a responsible leadership position and bring experience in the further development of a medium-sized company and enthusiasm for a designated designer role and were therefore successful as a technical manager / factory manager (m/w/d) or similar position. They love technology, have a hand for people and can rethink the old world due to their professional experience and leadership skills. This position is part of the management and reports directly to the Executive Board (CEO and CFO). They lead a team of about 300 people and thus the heart of corporate culture. Head of technical departments with more than 300 employees, directly reporting to the Executive Board Total responsibility for the proper production process (including planning and maintenance) ensuring quality, timeliness and cost-effectiveness Expansion of automation by testing and using all further developments, including AI etc. Continuous identification of potential for improvement and management of corresponding (lean) optimization projects to increase productivity and/or to realize savings Further development of the key payment system to increase the transparency and appropriate management of the company: in cooperation with the commercial management, you build the company planning and control system and implement it operationally in your area of responsibility Creating and maintaining appropriate operational reporting Close cooperation with the management board/partners, significant involvement in investment decisions and overarching projects to further improve the competitive situation and promote profitable growth

Successfully completed technical studies (production technology, mechanical engineering, plastics technology, industrial engineer) or comparable qualification Multiannual experience in responsible leadership in plastics technology (ideally injection moulding) as Technical Director / Plant Manager (m/w/d) Detectional successes in the optimization of processes and processes of a grown company (Lean, KVP, deployment automation, AI projects etc.) with large-scale production Funded understanding of business and general business relationships and proven experience in project & change management Leadership with enthusiasm and high social competence Passion for progress, gainful communication and the ability to pick and take employees in changes IT-Affinity Good English knowledge of word and writing
