SAP Application Manager – Record to Report (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the SAP standard in the record-to-report process (main book, controlling, completion and reporting) professionally – from customizing and configuration to further development in SAP FI and CO. You configure accounting circles, account plans, cost center hierarchies and earnings ranges and maintain asset accounting as well as cost and revenue flows in SAP CO. As a communication partner, you will consult the specialist departments, take stakeholders and create acceptance for changes. You accompany S/4HANA migration projects (Universal Journal, New Main Book) and the half-year cloud release cycles and support in final samples and Go-Lives. You coordinate user acceptance tests, take over the 1st and 2nd level support for finance and controlling and document solutions comprehensible and support in 3rd level support requests.

Commercial understanding – e.g. by studying economic informatics or Business Administration with a focus on accounting/controlling or a qualification as a balance sheet holder (m/w/d) with IT affinity; a study is welcome, but no need. Multiannual SAP experience in the finance and controlling environment, ideally as an SAP FI/CO consultant or experienced key user. Good knowledge of SAP FI-GL, FI-AA and SAP CO and a good understanding of accounting principles (HGB, IFRS). Knowledge of SAP Group Reporting or SEM-BCS and experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance (Universal Journal) are of advantage. Impressed communication strength and joy in consulting specialist areas as well as the willingness to accept application responsibility in a cloud transformation environment.
