Managing Director (m/f/d)

Responsibility for the operational and strategic orientation of the IKD in coordination with the Management Board Leadership, development and personnel planning Compilation of budget and financial plans (including plan balance sheets and project calculations), budget responsibility (including personnel costs) as well as management of funding applications and evidence of use management of business books, cooperation in financial statements, accounting and tax returns; settlement of payment transactions Responsibility for administrative tasks in the areas of organisation, office communication, document management, contractual matters and administrative processes Planning, organisation and implementation of meetings, symposia, conferences and further education Participation in the strategic planning and quality assurance of training courses and the administration and organisation of courses Representation of the IKD against political, scientific and societal actors: both inside and outside the public Cooperation with Muslim congregations, universities and church and Jewish training institutions Preparation and implementation of board, advisory and committee meetings

Complete university studies (ideally in administrative sciences, business management, law, social sciences or comparable qualifications) Multiannual professional experience in a leadership or leadership function, ideally in the education, non-profit or public sector Knowledge of budgetary, funding and management rights Experience in personnel management and team management Knowledge of structures and actors in the field of Islam, integration and/or educational work in Germany would be advantageous Very good knowledge of German in word and writing High level of responsibility and integrity Ideally knowledge of the Muslim organizational landscape and/or interreligious dialogue structures
