For our SOS Children's Village Wilhelmshaven-Friesland, we are looking for a Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in permanent employment, full-time (38,5 hours/Where.) As a team coordinator*in, you are responsible for the professional support of the children as well as for the organisational further development of the group. Our group offers a safe and loving place for six children aged 4 and over who cannot grow up in their system of origin in the medium to long term. For the team: you organize and run the team meetings, coordinate the task distribution and ensure the flow of information between team and department management. For the children: You accompany the children lovingly and consistently in their daily lives, promote their individual strengths and resources, give hold and orientation and actively participate in educational and help planning. In doing so, you rely on relationships that are characterised by trust, reliability and respect. For quality: you carry the group's budget responsibility, document processes carefully, create reports and support the leadership in the further development of the pedagogical work. Their cooperation in internal bodies brings important impulses for the further development of our work. For the environment: You maintain cooperation with parents, schools, doctors, therapists and other cooperation partners and thus provide holistic support for children. For protection: You implement child protection and care protection with high mindfulness and awareness of responsibility.

You have completed training as an educator or a study of social education or medical education. You bring valuable experiences in child and youth assistance – ideally also in the construction of housing groups – or want to work in this area in a dedicated manner. You have the pleasure of taking responsibility and shaping a team together with others. You are characterized by reliability, team spirit and at the same time an independent, structured way of working. You are ready to accompany children and young people reliably even in night and weekend services. You maintain a careful and professional approach to proximity and distance.
