In this key role, you take over the overall commercial responsibility for the control and further development of our diverse real estate stock with buildings, apartments and church-socially used properties. Together with the engineering line you form a double tip at eye level. You report directly to the association management, lead a team of around 25 employees and develop structures, processes and basis for decision-making for economically viable, future-oriented and community-oriented real estate management.

You take over the strategic and operational management of the commercial real estate areas, in particular strategic real estate management, construction accounting, controlling and central services of the department with IT, master data and contract management. You lead and develop a team of around 25 employees professionally, organizationally and culturally - with clear goals, reliable communication and a modern understanding of leadership. You control the economic development of the real estate portfolio: from post-use concepts, marketing and income management to the assessment and prioritization of measures. You are responsible for the commercial cost and budget controlling for construction, refurbishment and maintenance measures in close cooperation with the construction management. You create and coordinate asset, investment and financial planning as well as meaningful templates for management, bodies and committees. You develop key figures, reporting and controlling structures and increase the transparency, data quality and manageability of the portfolio. You are responsible for the commercial side of funding management, accompany financing issues and advise internal stakeholders in building and real estate decisions. You drive process improvements and digital modes of operation - especially in data management, contract management, IT-supported workflows and interfaces to internal and external partners.

A completed academic degree programme, ideally in real estate management, facility management, business management, economic engineering or a comparable degree course with real estate, construction or finance. Multiannual relevant experience in real estate management, commercial real estate management, project development, asset/portfolio management or a comparable management function. Founded leadership experience as well as the ability to safely accompany teams through change, prioritization and professionalization. Very good understanding of budget planning, building cost controlling, contract management, key figures, committee work and economic management of complex real estate assets. You work in partnership, solution-oriented and at eye level, in particular with the engineering line.
