Climate Managers for Protected Areas in Baden-Württemberg for the Action Programme for Natural Climate Protection (ANK) (m/f/d)

You initiate, coordinate and accompany (promoting) projects of natural climate protection with a focus in the area of Lake Constance-Oberschwaben-Allgäu in cooperation with the lower nature conservation authorities, projectors and planners, landscape conservation associations, land owners and operators as well as other relevant actors. You identify suitable areas and areas for the development and implementation of measures for natural climate protection, taking into account relevant specialist planning and country strategies. You support and accompany agricultural, water management, nature conservation and protected areas administrations as well as other potential applicants in all steps of the funding application (including project management, project documentation, land management and awards). You support the communication of plans and measures to public and private stakeholders. You prioritise measures for natural climate protection in terms of their efficiency in climate and biodiversity protection. You proactively support the work of the regional managers in the ANK regional office with regard to networking, consulting and knowledge transfer activities in the protected areas and work closely together with the peat priority areas and other actors in the area.
