Project Manager Semiconductor Equipment at the Göttingen site (m/f/d)

As an experienced project manager (w/m/d), you take over the responsible management of sophisticated development projects in the field of optical components and systems for the BU Semiconductor Equipment. You independently manage projects from conception to successful completion and contribute significantly to the success of our innovations. Line and control: You lead development projects or coordinate complex subprojects in the environment of highly precise optical components and systems. This includes the management of transfer projects between different Excelitas locations.

Project planning and management: You are responsible for the detailed planning of work packages, costs and time frames. Use your know-how in project management tools and methods to ensure efficient project execution.

Team leadership and coordination: You organize and run interdisciplinary teams, promote effective cooperation and ensure communication within the project team and with external partners.

Technical concepts and specifications: You actively contribute to the creation of technical concepts and ensure compliance with specifications, costs and timetables.

Risk management: You identify potential risks in the course of the project at an early stage, assess their impact and derive proactive solution-oriented measures.

Documentation and reporting: You are responsible for complete project documentation and regular reporting on project status.

Representation and communication: You represent the project team and its results internally and to our customers.

For this position we are looking for a personality with pronounced project management skills and a passion for technological innovation in the semiconductor sector. Education and expertise: You have a successfully completed study (e.g. physics, mechanical engineering, precision engineering, industrial engineering) and ideally well-founded knowledge in technical optics or optical equipment engineering.

Project management experience: You bring several years of experience in managing projects or complex subprojects. The routined handling of common project management tools and methods is of course for you.

Communication strength: Their strong communication capability allows you to communicate with national and international partners and customers.

Personal competencies: You are characterized by a high level of team capacity, ability to resolve conflicts, enforcing capacity and resilience and flexibility.
