In this position you design modern drive concepts in the maritime environment and take over the technical control of individual assemblies within demanding projects. You combine conceptual thinking with practical implementation and contribute significantly to the success of our systems. The holistic control and coordination of individual modules lies in your area of responsibility - from project planning to design and production management to testing and handing over to the customer. You create and maintain technical drawings and design documents independently, always keeping the overall system in mind and ensuring its functionality. As part of the procurement, you support purchasing in selecting suitable components, evaluate offers technically and agree with potential subcontractors. As a competent contact person, you advise internal specialist departments, customers, suppliers as well as classification societies in all technical questions concerning drive technology.

Graduate in mechanical engineering or a comparable degree course, as an alternative to a state-tested technician (m/w/d) with corresponding practical experience Multiannual professional experience in a comparable position, ideally in the maritime or industrial plant environment Experience in the creation and processing of complex technical drawings and assemblies First experience in handling system requirements and their processing in DOORS desirable Safe handling of 3D CAD systems (preferably Siemens NX), product lifecycle management systems (e.g. Siemens Teamcenter) as well as common MS Office applications Technical communication strength in German and English, even in complex issues Analytical thinking, organizational talent and the ability to quickly capture technical relationships Solution-oriented, structured and independent working combined with team spirit and innovation joy readiness for occasional journeys (approximately 5%) within Germany readiness and condition for a review pursuant to SÜG, Ü2 mandatory
