Job description You run the Cost Controlling department at the Finance Department at the Cologne site. Your department has a diverse range of tasks at the interface between finance and all other departments/specialities.

You are responsible for the cost controlling of AXA Germany with your 20-25 team. Within this team, you conduct ca. 7 employees as well as a leadership who leads the rest of the team Your area of responsibility includes the strategic overall cost planning, the implementation of quarterly, half-year and annual accounts according to HGB and IFRS as well as the corresponding budgeting and forecasting processes You are also responsible for the monthly cost reporting and ad hoc analyses You will discuss the results and their derivation of business operations with relevant stakeholders (e.g. CEO, COF, other board members and management as well as the AXA Group) You make a cost calculation appropriate to the AXA insurance companies safe and agree to the results with the audit By adjusting cost targets and efficiency measures, you can secure budget compliance by managing your business You accompany and support the creation of business cases, investment decisions and transformation projects Your trustworthy and close cooperation with supervisors: inside are the basis for the success of your team

You bring a very good degree in economics with a master's degree or a comparable qualification. In addition, you have several years of professional experience, preferably in strategy consulting, in financial functions and/or in the insurance industry. Ideally, you have already been able to gain professional and/or disciplinary leadership experience. You manage to advance your topics through your conceptual ability, structuring and analytical strength. A strong People Management Skill with experienced feedback expertise, paired with a very good communication strength and conflict management competence. You have the pleasure of an independent way of working in conjunction with a pronounced focus on results and convince by your appearance.
