The landscape association Rheinland (LVR) works as a municipal association with around 22,000 employees for the 9,8 million people in the Rhineland. With its 41 schools, ten clinics, 20 museums and cultural institutions, four youth aid institutions, the Landesjugendamt and the association for WohnenPlusLife, it performs tasks that are carried out throughout the Rhineland. We are looking for a visionary, design-intensive and strategically-thinking leader who actively develops our financial structures and determines the course for the future of our joint institutions - the LVR clinics, the LVR Association for WohnenPlusLife, the LVR Institute for Research and Education and the Hospital Center Laundry. Together with a dedicated and expertly-competent team, you take on a central control function in the topics: business, finance, controlling, investment and risk management. Their specific tasks include in particular: Economic management and requirements of uniform standards in the financial and accounting systems of the institutions and requirements for annual accounts and balance sheet policy Further development of the association of the individual financial statements of the institutions with the consolidated financial statements according to NKF Monitoring and design/ further development of controlling instruments and reporting (such as business plans, reporting systems) in the institutions Financial implementation of strategic projects (e.g. cooperation with other hospitals/ hospitals, special investment programme hospitals NRW) Further development of risk management in the associations Development and implementation of budget strategies and perception of the negotiating leadership in the negotiations with the different cost carriers Continuing the established modern investment financing management Staff and organisational responsibility for the subject Their work is characterised by cooperative cooperation with the multi-professional leaders of the allies, the actors of the district governments in NRW and the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs NRW, as well as other internal and external bodies and institutions such as the Hospital Society of North Rhine-Westphalia and the Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft Psychiatrie. You have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the negotiation of hospital budgets, control and controlling the performance of hospitals, thereby gaining in-depth knowledge of the PPP system that allows you to validate the performance development and effective use of controlling instruments. As an experienced management personality, you also take over new or unexpected tasks and control complex financial processes with clear result orientation. Your experience in the design and implementation of change processes will qualify to accompany transformation projects – for example in the context of cooperations or investment programs – structured and effective. A strong analytical and digital competence enables you to develop and strategically gear reporting systems, business plans and controlling instruments. Your negotiating security, enforcement strength and persuasive communication skills help you to effectively represent the interests of the institutions towards cost-benefits, ministerial actors and political bodies. Your multiannual experience in advising political bodies empowers you to prepare complex financial issues in a way that is addressable and to communicate professionally at management level. A high degree of flexibility and willingness to use will bring you to take responsibility even outside regular service hours – for example in public appointments or special events.
