Our special medical focus is on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system – from spinal and pain medicine to orthopaedics and sports orthopaedics to accident and restoration surgery. As an academic teaching hospital of the Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf, we combine modern medicine with interdisciplinary cooperation and value-oriented care. In the course of a regulated succession, we are looking for an experienced nursing director or an experienced nursing director, as our current nursing director is retired after many years of activity; a structured and overlapping incorporation is provided.

As a nursing director, you take over the overall responsibility for the strategic, organisational and professional management of the nursing and functional service and are an important part of the clinic management in the course of the Management Board. You actively participate in the strategic and conceptual further development of the care and function service, in close coordination with the responsible care specialist and care department management. In your role, you will ensure compliance and improvement of care quality, taking into account the applicable legal and economic requirements. You provide effective personnel management and development in the care and function service by always looking at the needs of the stations and departments. Together with the management, you successfully implement the strategic and economic goals. In cooperation with the HR department, you will develop effective strategies for employee retention and recovery. You optimize existing workflows, organizational structures and service time models to increase the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the entire operation. You ensure that all quality and structural criteria are complied with and the care documentation complies with the required standards. You accompany and implement interdisciplinary projects, such as the introduction of digital care planning or delir management.

You have a degree in nursing management or a comparable qualification. You are a professional and personally persuasive executive who radiates enthusiasm and has a professional self-understanding based on nursing science. In addition, you will continue to identify yourself personally with the nursing profession and show willingness to interprofessional cooperation. You have extensive management experience in hospital management (preferably in acute areas) as well as comprehensive knowledge of the health system, common quality management systems and project management. Their thinking is process-oriented and entrepreneurial. Your communicative skills and high social competence are yours. You identify with the objectives of the institution and the St. Francis Foundation and actively contribute to developing and achieving the company's medical-care, economic and social policy objectives. A strong IT affinity and extensive IT skills are among your strengths. You are also pleased to digitize care and clinic processes.
