The Geodatenmanagement / GIS-Zentrum department serves, with a small and innovative team, Hertener Stadtwerke GmbH provides comprehensive services in the field of geodata management /QGIS – support and their further development in all matters relating to management documentation and the “Konzern Stadt Herten” with resort. Your main task lies in the group-wide support and further development of existing QGIS jobs and associated geodata management: Recording and testing the geodata requirements from the specialist departments – including evaluation of the feasibility and development of solutions Development and implementation of own ideas for the digitization of geodata Geodata management: maintenance, updating and provision of data Support for QGIS workstations including further development of systems Support and training of Group members on GIS topics and implementation of qualification measures

Successfully completed vocational training, preferably as a geomatician (w/m/d) or surveying technician (w/m/d), or comparable qualification with extensive practical experience in the above-mentioned areas of work Knowledge and experience in handling the QGIS geoinformation system and geodata infrastructures Knowledge of construction and structures of municipalities and administrations High self-initiative, pronounced communication skills, independent and solution-oriented working methods and customer-oriented thinking Very good German knowledge (at least level C1)
