What we plan together: The International Procurement Logistics Overseas range includes all transport-relevant processes along the supply chains originating from overseas and the task of providing timely goods by sea, rail or air freight. For example, container transports from Asia, with the focus on PRC using shipping companies and other service providers. Our focus is on optimizing the value chain and generating added value within our import network.

What you do with us: You support the strategic buyer in controlling and monitoring overseas logistics for goods, especially from Asia, by ship transport, air freight and rail. You are in constant exchange with shipping companies, operators and network partners. In consultation with the strategic buyer, you take over the coordination, negotiation preparation and contract design of (mainly English-speaking) contracts with shipping companies. You always think one step further: In your role, you are actively driving the further development of international overseas container logistics. You are looking for solutions in the case of operating ad hoc challenges related to the flows of goods in import logistics. You have everything in mind: the performance monitoring of all network partners and shipowners as well as the creation of the associated statistical evaluations.
