Designs: You have the chance to introduce current technologies at LBBW, always stay up-to-date and you can actively shape our digital future.

Responsibility: As a co-leading platform engineering, you are also responsible for designing and developing the SKYWALKER platform, a highly automated infrastructure as code (IaC) runtime environment for our application landscape based on Microsoft Azure. In addition, you support the lead engineer in the professional leadership of our currently 20-member development team and meet with these design decisions that significantly influence the further development of the platform.

As part of our Cloud Center of Excellence, you work cross-functionally closely with other IT disciplines (e.g. IT architecture, compliance or IT security) when designing and developing the platform.

Advising: IT application development and the disciplines will help you deal with technological issues within the IT base infrastructure (such as optimal sustainable and secure integration into the existing IT system landscape).

Know-how: You have profound knowledge in Azure network architecture, DNS and security. Ideally, you also have competencies in the field (IaC). You run and manage firewalls as well as BGP routers. In the network administration, you take care of the administration of DNS servers in Azure and the safe handling of the Azure SDN. You also have extensive knowledge of the design and implementation of security solutions in the banking environment. You have experience with banking regulators and are able to design and implement solutions for compliance requirements. In addition, you control Microsoft Defender for the threat prevention and early detection of anomalies and configure the forwarding for event management.

Voting with stakeholders: You work closely with different stakeholders including vulnerability management, CMDB and SIEM teams. You are responsible for maintaining and implementing organisational requirements and formal processes.

Competence: Your competencies & professional experience in the network & security environment can be supplemented with general azure skills and ideally supported with relevant certifications.

Fire: You are a change driver and you are burning digital communication, the Tech Stack and collaboration in the LBBW.

Drive: You work independently, independently and customer-centric. In addition, you are willing to acquire missing knowledge in the environment of IT infrastructure in a reasonable time - of course with our support.
