Cloud infrastructure design and operation: You unravel, implement and operate modern Azure cloud infrastructures that meet the requirements of our data platform. Automation and Infrastructure as Code: You automate deployments and infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform to ensure efficient and reproducible processes. CI/CD pipelines: You build and operate CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and tests to enable fast and reliable releases. Monitoring and optimization: You continuously monitor the operation of the cloud environments, optimize performance, costs and security, and proactively respond to challenges. Security and Compliance: You implement security and compliance requirements in the cloud and ensure compliance. DevOps Collaboration: You work closely with the development teams to ensure stable, scalable and secure cloud solutions. Conception and Migration: You work on the design and implementation of an innovative DWH that is realized with tools such as Coalesce.io, Databricks and IDMC based on a Lakehouse model. Process and pipeline development: You define processes for connecting source systems and develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines – from Raw-Ingest to Gold-Layer. Interdisciplinary cooperation: You work closely with various specialist departments (such as BI, IT security, operation) to ensure seamless integration and coordination of technical solutions.

Complete study of computer science, business informatics, data science or comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience as Data Engineer, ideally with Azure Data Factory, Spark/Databricks (PySpark/SQL), Delta Lake/Lakehouse, ETL/ELT, Analytics modelling (e.g. Star Schema, Power BI) and orchestration Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (especially Microsoft Azure) and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Azure Monitor, Log Analytics) Understanding cloud security concepts and best practices Structured, independent and solution-oriented operation as well as pronounced communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing to communicate effectively with international and local teams as well as to safely create technical documentation
