Production Employee / Machine Operator (m/w/d) - Glass Processing

For our brand FireGlass, we are looking for a production employee / machine operator (m/w/d) for glass processing at the production site Seevetal near Hamburg. FireGlass is the market leader for fire protection glass and places great emphasis on excellent customer service that meets all customer needs in a constantly changing market. Glass cutting & machining You serve various glass processing machines, such as glass cutting machines and automatic forming machines. You cut glass according to predetermined dimensions and shapes – with templates, gauge and cutting tools. Excess glass can be removed manually or with special tools. With tape grinders, polishing discs or edge grinding machines, you can arrange for clean edges. You recognize glass defects, mark them and optimise cutting. Logistics & storage Loading and unloading of glass frames (stils) for shipping Seevetal to our customers are among your daily tasks. You document and monitor stocks – including batch numbers and cuts.

You have a completed technical training, for example as a machine and plant manager or a comparable qualification. First professional experience in the production environment is ideally brought along. Knowledge of the operation of CNC machines is a plus, but no need. You work carefully, accurately and have a strong awareness of working safety. Quality is your first priority – just like teamwork and reliability.
