What makes this position? The IT Operations Engineer ensures the reliable, secure and standard operation of the local IT infrastructure and selected cloud services. These include the processing of user and escalated technical requests in the 1st and 2nd level support, the configuration and support of central systems, the support of global and regional IT rollouts, as well as the technical support of support colleagues. In addition, the role acts as a technical contact for local management in location-related IT topics.

Processing of IT support tickets (1st & 2nd level) and solving location-specific disruptions in the infrastructure and cloud environment Implementation of maintenance, updates and configurations for servers, network devices and hardware according to global standards Support for local IT projects such as migration, hardware rollouts and system upgrades Operation and support of cloud services (e.g. Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, AWS) Coordination of external service providers and complete documentation Technical contact for local management in IT-relevant location topics and escalations

3–5 years of professional experience in IT operations, infrastructure or desktop support in a multi-site or enterprise environment Good knowledge of Microsoft technologies, for example: Windows 11; Microsoft 365; Entra ID (Azure AD); Intune / Endpoint Management; Basics of Windows Server Administration Solid understanding of network and infrastructure technologies, including: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP; VLANs, switching, routing; First experience with cloud environments (e.g. AWS basic services) High reliability, quality awareness and ability to work effectively and organized under time pressure Good knowledge of English for cooperation in an international environment
